Resilience means that we rest when we need to. Women especially are prone to taking care of everybody else before we take care of ourselves. Whenever we try to talk ourselves out of this crucial element of self-care, we are misguided. Take the time. Rest.
I am feeling under the weather, my friends, and I am going to take the time to rest and recover. If it makes sense to you, please send healing vibes. I’ll be back as soon as I can.
In the meantime, stay well, stay steady. Rest when needed.
Sending you my love,
Susan

You are my inspiration, so I am going to say a prayer for you (not that I have much influence with the Man upstairs). You take care of yourself and have yourself some tea with honey in it. That always makes me feel better, even if it is just for an attitude adjustment. My dog is
happy since I play with him so much. He is a 68 pound Pit and loves to chase the squeaky balls and I throw a lot of them just to keep me from getting bored LOL I really do hate getting old and I find that I do get tired more easily now that I am 80.
Take care of yourself, just sit back and let the rest of the world go by.
Healing wishes Susan. Meant to send you a note congratulating you on hitting 50 days—did NOT know how you did it. Rest, my friend…but keep us posted!
Rest well. I will pray that your rest is healing of body, mind, and spirit. When you feel able, please update us.
Rest, dear Susan…we’ll take turns holding the umbrella over you, as we await the return of rainbows, and your restored health.
Sending love and prayers and of course healing energy and light…Do take care dear lady…we need you !!!!
Sending healing thoughts and hope you’re feeling better soon.
Rest and get well, Susan! I pray for the Lord’s healing touch and smiles to grace your home!
I love the picture you posted today. It is very apropos where I live. Raining almost all day long, and this evening too.
Be well, stay safe and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. We have been under quite a long period of time dealing with the disruption of COVID-19.
Sometimes it is necessary to take a time out, to fall and regroup, as it were.
Sending healing thoughts and prayers. Hope you are better soon.
Susan,
I hope this finds you so much better. It certainly has not been the best of times; difficult on so many levels. To not feel well only adds to the burden of rising to the occasion. Your resilience dispatches are always a pleasure to read. Please take good care of yourself. Your fans are legion; but we don’t want to hear from you until you are rested and healthy again. Sending You a Bouquet of Well Wishes, Barb
Thanks so much, Barb. And thanks to everyone who commented on this post. I am feeling much better, and will resume my resilience dispatches at 4 o’clock today.
Love to all of you. xo
