Here’s a message from Queenie Temple, one of the main characters in the Temple Secrets Series. Book One is Temple Secrets. Book Two is Gullah Secrets.
Of all the novels I’ve written, Queenie is my favorite character to write dialogue for. Her expressions are a bit over the top and bigger than life, but offered with a full heart. Anytime she gets excited, her exclamations are often heaven-related: Good lord! My heavens! Goodness! Heaven help us!
I haven’t known anyone like Queenie in my lifetime, but she sprang from my imagination full-bodied and feels very real to me. Please know she sends her love.
If you have read the Temple books, can’t you just hear her saying this or something similar? As always, I welcome your thoughts.

I loved both of the “secrets” books…!! I do wish there were more books than the two written…i have a soft spot for the family matriarch…..So wise!!! If truth be told i am a huge fan of yours….Thanks for all the joy you have gifted me with…Stay safe…We need you.
