Happy Mother’s Day! I imagine this weekend may be a hard one for some people. Even though a lot of states are opening up, not everyone will get to celebrate with the moms they love. Do you have children you won’t get to see because of this pandemic? Or maybe you have a mom you will miss.
Feel free to tell us about it.
In the meantime, we are all just walking each other home.
Love,
Susan
P.S. Slow progress this week on Violet’s Tea Shop. Please send good mojo. xo

Yes, this will be a hard one. My daughter is a RN in a big city hospital caring for COVID19 patients. I am so proud of her but miss her like crazy. She comes home every few weeks to shop for us and herself and this last week she put on her mask, put up her hood and I threw a blanket over her and gave her a huge hug! (and then threw the blanket in the wash). We both needed it and I’m grateful.
Oh, Nancy, that’s so sweet. I’m so glad you got to hug your daughter. I imagine the last time you hugged her while she wore a blanket was a long time ago. I know I am practically a stranger, but I am proud of her, too. I am proud of all those dear hospital workers trying to keep us safe and alive. True heroes.
Take good care of yourself. Tenderness is called for this weekend!xo
Hi Susan: Something we took for granted is taken from us, and we miss it terribly. I’ll bet we’ll treasure each hug from now on.
Conjuring up good mojo to send. Peggy
You are such a dear person, Peggy. Thanks so much for your comment. Take good care!
