Steady on, sweet readers. We’ve still got a ways to go before this crisis is over.
In the meantime:
Breathe deeply. Laugh often. Go outside.
Be grateful. Write it down. Seek out beauty.
Grieve when needed. Practice compassion. Encourage your friends.
Believe in something bigger. Sleep well. Go down to the river.
Have a cup of tea. Be kind. Celebrate resilience.
We’re all on this journey together. Stay safe. Stay steady.
Steady on.
Love,
Susan

Indeed, we need to recognize that this is a marathon and we cannot waste each day wishing it over until we can go out again and do all the things we used to do. This IS the new normal for quite awhile…take good notes…we are living history.
We are indeed living history, Helen, and it is definitely a marathon and not a sprint. I think our new reality is starting to sink in for folks right now. It’s like we are only on the first or second chapter of a long novel.
Take good care, my friend.
Susan
