If you are a soulful writer/artist type–if you read this blog you probably are–check out Agave Literary Magazine. It is a great new literary/art magazine. As I am writing this, their premiere issue is out. Ariana Lyriotakis is Editor-in-Chief of Agave Literary Magazine and we had a very nice email exchange. They’re new and they love getting feedback, so let them know what you think!

The images used in the magazine are amazing (the one below is one of them). They feature up-and-coming artists. And the poems and stories are top notch. It has a southwestern flavor, which I love. Plus, every poet talks about their creative process in a section below their work. This magazine is worth reading just for that alone. Agave Literary Magazine is a publication that truly honors the work of artists, writers and poets and displays the work in a thoughtful and beautiful way. I don’t think you’ll regret taking the time to check it out.

You can read the issues online on your tablet or computer. Agave Literary Magazine is free, by the way, and they are also looking for submissions. Go here to visit their pages.

P.S. As always, let me know what you think. xo
