These are some of the best photographs of nature I’ve seen. I found them on www.dailygood.org and wanted to share them with you. They are real places. Go here to see the entire post. The last image is one of my own. It is a trail I walk every day by a river in the mountains of North Carolina. Not quite as exotic, perhaps, but it is a place I love. Let me know what you think. ——————- The tunnel of love photograph in the Ukraine reminded me of where I walk. The photo below doesn’t really do the place justice, but maybe you can get a sense of it. Davidson River, Pisgah National Forest, NC Image credit: Susan Gabriel I also like the red umbrella in the tea fields. Besides talking a walk by the river every day, another part of my writing ritual is to make myself a pot of tea: loose leaf, organic Assam. Do you have a favorite photograph? A favorite ritual to start your day? As always, I’d love to hear from you.

Hi Susan–It is pretty hard to find a lovely place to walk in the middle of L.A., but I have found a few. The pictures of the world’s trails are beautiful. I wonder if the people living by these trails appreciate the beauty that is so near. Sometimes, we don’t see the beauty that is right in front of us. You are so fortunate to be able to walk this lovely trail in N.C., every day. No wonder you are so inspired.
My almost daily ritual is making myself oatmeal and topping it off with cinnamon, walnuts and blueberries, with a shot of almond milk. It is soooo delicious, I find myself saying “this is so good” to myself almost every day.
Best, Mary
Hi Mary,
Your morning ritual sounds yummy. I’m a protein drink person myself, but this makes me want to switch to oatmeal for a while.
I am very fortunate to live in such a beautiful place. I am grateful every day.
Great to hear from you!
Susan
Wow. Thanks for all the new screensavers! 🙂
These are beautiful Susan. I have actually seen three of theses sights here with my own eyes. Thanks for sharing. Trélys
Wow, Trelys. That’s impressive. I’ve only seen one. The one I took the photo of! Thanks for stopping by!
